HOTWDC is a nonprofit organization focused on teaching and dancing contemporary West Coast Swing with traditional elements of Whip, a distinctive Texas style ideally suited to Rhythm and Blues.

Regular weekly meetings and many special events are held on Thursday evenings at Ascension Lutheran Church, 6420 Hart Lane. Heading south on Mopac, take the Far West Blvd exit, pass through the light, continue on the Mopac access road, then turn right on Hart Lane shortly after the access road becomes two-way (now called Balcones Drive), drive up the hill and turn left at the peak into the parking lot.

First time guests are always welcome to enjoy a Thursday evening of dancing and regular classes at no charge.

In addition to regular meetings, the club  occasionally offers special workshops with guest instructors on the last Thursday of a month. We also host special events such as our Anniversary Party and Christmas Dance.

Members support the club through dues at $60 for six months, with a $10 credit for each new member referred. You may contribute by cash or check at meetings.
